In response to the devastating floods that impacted vast regions of Sindh, A.D Construction played a crucial role in flood relief and rehabilitation efforts at PAF Base Shahbaz in Jacobabad. This project was a part of emergency operations aimed at restoring critical defense infrastructure and ensuring uninterrupted flight operations in one of the most flood-affected zones of the province.
Client: Pakistan Air Force (Flood Relief Coordination Unit)
Location: PAF Base Shahbaz, Jacobabad
Objective: Rapid dewatering and restoration of flood-impacted airbase to support defense operations.
The floodwaters had significantly disrupted movement and operations at the base. A.D Construction was entrusted with the strategic task of removing water, restoring cleanliness, and bringing back operational normalcy within a short window.
Collection of Water: Identifying and managing major water accumulation points for targeted dewatering.
Pumping Operations: High-capacity pumping systems were deployed around-the-clock to extract floodwater efficiently.
Filtering and Silt Removal: Advanced filtration and silt removal ensured clean drainage and avoided blockages in critical areas.
Area Cleanliness: Thorough cleaning operations helped sanitize the base and prepare it for restoration works.
Restoration of Flight Operations: Once water was cleared, efforts focused on clearing runways and support infrastructure to resume air operations safely.
This emergency response project demonstrated A.D Construction’s ability to act swiftly and effectively under extreme conditions. By restoring operational capabilities at a key air defense base, this effort not only supported national defense readiness but also showed our commitment to national service during times of crisis.
